Stacie and I absolutely love our job, we love our couples, and we love when our couples are willing to make an adventure out of their engagement session! Sydnee didn’t hesitate when we first presented the idea of heading to Paso Robles for their engagement photos. We mentioned that it may be nice to share a glass of wine at Justin Winery before we got started with some photos so that’s just what we did! We made it to the Wine society lounge with a few minutes to spare and Jessica was gracious enough to pour an entire tasting for us while we chatted about the session. We ventured into the underground caves for a moment so we could incorporate the barrels into a shot or two and then headed outside for the rest of their session. We knew we could not go wrong with this couple in Paso. We avoided the gloomy weather in Bakersfield and found spots along the way to stop and create. It was refreshing to not have a set plan for once and to let the day unfold. Though we did learn the hard way that a plan can be helpful when it comes to dinner…haha! We treated our awesome couple to a few snacks at 7 eleven in lieu of missing the golden hour at the vineyards and they were great sports about it. Rich was a little hesitant to snack on some 3 day old pizza so we went with a little beef jerky instead!
Rich and Sydnee: Thank you for being willing to make the jaunt out to Paso. We hope that you enjoyed the session as much as we did. We have just begun to scratch the surface with this preview but we hope you enjoy reliving the day! We can’t wait for your November wedding at the lovely Noriega House!
