Over the weekend, Stacie and I had the pleasure of documenting the love of two people that are closest to us! We traveled to the land of golden sunshine, magnificent sunsets, and beautiful landscapes. We laughed the whole time, avoided getting stuck with cactus (at least most of us), and finished off their session with great food at True Food Kitchen in Fashion Island. We have developed quite the relationship with these two since Adam and I became roommates at Pepperdine in 2004. Over the years we have sharpened each other in business and in our personal lives. Adam has encouraged me in the best and the worst of times over the last 10 years.
When Adam met Kim, I knew my world would be changed! She stole my Halo (Video Game) partner…..we played Poker less together as his new love interest wanted to spend all kinds of time together (Sheesh!!!!). She even managed to prevent him from coming up to Bakersfield like every other weekend to hang out and start a photobooth business!! Can you believe her? Haha….. the truth is; I would expect any girl to come into his life and create change in our friendship in the ways I just mentioned: Kim didn’t! Though she would have been completely justified in telling Adam not to pick up my frantic phone calls as I was in a bind with our photobooth business, Kim patiently and graciously waited as Adam and I would troubleshoot during the main part of their romantic dinner and movie dates! She is the 3rd most thoughtful girl I have EVER met (Behind my wife Stacie and my only blog reader….HI MOM!) She has equal drive and a desire to succeed. She is extremely intelligent, wise, passionate, romantic, etc….and the list goes on and on! I have told Adam for the past 6 years that it does not get any better than this and to put a ring on it!!! Below is the result: He did put a ring on it!
A Tribute to Adam
Perhaps the funniest guy I have ever met, definitely the most competitive!
Extremely talented in all that he does, Failure is not an option.
The clearest display of an incredibly high standard of living and self-control.
He excels in whatever he chooses to do. Except Arm bars, I excel at that! haha
Love you brother! Can’t wait to stand alongside you this August and celebrate the union of two people we couldn’t be happier for!
*Quick side note: Adam and Kim have hired the photographers that Stacie and I have huge crushes on in this industry! I literally feel like I should pay Adam and Kim because Stacie and I get to have our pictures taken by them. I honestly can’t wait to see what The Youngrens do with this attractive couple in August at The Loft on Pine! We were extremely nervous to take these engagement images knowing that their wedding photos would be so phenomenal!
